Juliana Kantengwa is a PhD student, University of Rwanda She holds M. Soc. Sc. Gender & Development from the University of Rwanda., Msc. Veterinary Pathology & Microbiology from the University of Nairobi. Kenya and BVet. Med from Makerere University, Kampala. Uganda. Her research interests include issues affecting women and children, particularly, women empowerment in fast changing socio-cultural settings, evolving family relations, domestic division of labour and unpaid care work.
Juliana has diverse expertise and experience in development of public policy in Gender, Agriculture, Livestock and Environment in a variety of national, regional and international settings. International exposure of over 20 years as a Rwandan parliamentarian and 13 years as a member of the Pan African Parliament (PAP).
