Eddy Joshua Walakira

Eddy Joshua Walakira, PhD – is an Associate Professor of Social Work focusing on children and youth studies. He lectures at Makerere University and he is also a visiting professor at the university of Gotgenburg Sweden school of social work. He is a specialist on issues of child and youth protection and development; including programming for their wellbeing and that of the family. He currently serves as the head of Department of social work, and serves on many high level committees, boards of organisations, and technical working groups in his area of speciality
