Dr. Moses Mutua Mutiso is a resourceful, committed and results orientated Lecturer, Research and Development and Academic Professional with over 10 Years extensive higher education experience and a consistent record of success within academia and research. Dr Moses is a Holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology Degree at Moi University Kenya. He is a lecturer at the department of Sociology, Psychology and Anthropology at Moi University. In addition, Moses has more than 17 years’ experience in multi-sectoral programme design, monitoring, evaluation and learning processes with various INGOs and Consultancies firms where he has supported integrated programme design processes. Some of the thematic focus has been Cities and Urban development, Public Policy and advocacy, environment, education, food security and livelihood, Wash, economic empowerment, Key populations and gender and child protections interventions.
His long-standing research interests are: Gender and sexuality, HIV/AIDS on Key Population, Crime, Law and Deviance, Monitoring and Evaluation and Research Methodology. He has consulted for World Bank, French Embassy, World Health Organization (WHO) in Public Expenditure Tracking System Project, and Government of South Africa (Department of Environment Affairs through sub-contracting by SYBOI PTY Limited). Moses is also an innovative professional, with diverse strengths and proven ability to build and maintain key relationships at all levels; translating requirements and overseeing all issues through to completion. Advanced analytical and decision-making ability compliment excellent communication skills that have been demonstrated in many areas.
