Sharon Adetutu Omotoso

Dr Sharon Adetutu Omotoso (PhD) is Senior Research Fellow on Gender Studies/Cultural & Media Studies Programs at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan. She heads the Institute’s Women’s Research and Documentation Centre (WORDOC).  Her areas of research interest include: Applied Ethics, Media & Gender Studies, Political Communications, Philosophy of Education, Socio-Political Philosophy, and African Philosophy in which she has published significantly. She co-edited Political Communication in Africa (2017), and was editor, Women’s political Communication in Africa (2020), both published by Springer
