About Me

Howard Tugume is a Ph.D. fellow at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Makerere University Uganda. He holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Copenhagen University Denmark and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Makerere University Uganda. He has other training in Food Safety and traceability (Denmark), Market Access for sustainable development (Netherlands), and Comparative Social Research (Kenya). Howard is an Inclusive Business Mentor certified under the Inclusive Business Accelerator Project. A Business Development Service Provider working with SEED and a Business Start-up Consultant at PicMe Up Investments Limited.

Howard's recent research engagements include:

  1. 2018- To Date, a researcher under the NORHED II, Climate-Smart Agricultural Technologies project; this project is undergoing.

  3. July 2014, The physical and electronic payment interface and its influence on consumer payment choices and informal/fraudulent practices: A case study of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Uganda. This research is funded by IMTFI
