Dr. Ednah Masita is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Anthropology in Moi University, Kenya. She has BA in Anthropology from University of Nairobi, MPhil in Sociology (2007) from Moi University, and a doctorate in Anthropology (2018) from Université de Pau et Des Pays de L'Adour (France). Her PhD thesis was on the Socio-cultural meaning of death from HIV/AIDS and its implications on prevention of HIV. She has authored and co-authored papers in the subject areas of the family and adolescent sexuality and HIV/AIDS, parental economic status and adolescent sexuality, women and elective politics, HIV/AIDs, Human agency mobility. She is currently a researcher in a project on (im)mobile African material cultures, objects and indigenous knowledge, Moi University Africa Cluster Centre.
