The ARUA CoE Identities has been running monthly Early Career Researchers’ workshops since May 2023. These workshops are a platform for Early Career Researchers under the UKRI Capacity building project titled: Strengthening Capacity for Research and Policy Engagement in Shifting Notions of Motherhood and Fatherhood for Improved Children’s Wellbeing (SCaRPE-A) to showcase their preliminary work. SCaRPE-A Project is implemented in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Rwanda by six Universities including Makerere University, Uganda, Moi University, Kenya, University of Rwanda, Rwanda, and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, University of Western Cape, South Africa and the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.
This month’s workshop will feature five ECRs from the University of Ibadan, the University of Rwanda, the University of Western Cape, and Makerere University.
